Data Booster started with an observation from the inside: the organizations that win with data and AI aren't the ones with the best tools — they're the ones whose people actually know how to use them.
After years at ING, I joined Uber — and I was struck by how deeply data was woven into every decision, at every level. Most large organizations I knew, including the ones I came from, simply didn't work that way. When I left Uber, I couldn't let go of one question: why can't every company build that kind of data & AI culture? I started Data Booster to make it possible — first as freelance work, then as a learning platform, and today as a full capability partner. Some of our very first customers are still with us 4 years on.
I've led HR and Organizational Development across several organizations, and I've seen first-hand what it takes to build lasting capabilities. Transforming an organization takes more than investing in new technology — to get real value from data & AI, your people have to learn to work in new ways. Technology, processes, culture and skills all shape how work changes. That's why Data Booster's focus on the people side — helping employees build new skills in an applied, relevant way, embedded in a wider enablement program — is, in my view, a key differentiator in driving adoption.
